Ron has over 30 years of experience working and consulting in both the public and private sectors. After completing his degree in economics and finance from Simon Fraser University, Ron worked as an economist for the federal government and a business analyst in the provincial government. Ron joined an international information technology consulting firm and consulted to a variety of organizations around the world, providing strategic planning, benefits realization and value management expertise.
Ron has honed his critical thinking and system thinking skills through having to make sense of complex situations and helping organizations through the difficulties of change and the resistance to change. His pragmatic approach to problem solving has been valuable in building consensus and getting people with different perspectives to work towards common ground for the common good.
Ron has participated in and led Integral Strategy Roadmap™ projects in the health care and not-for-profit sectors.
As a lifelong learner, Ron continues to pursue reading on a broad range of subjects and his studies in philosophy and history. He has a special interest in music, art and culture. Ron is active in his community as a volunteer and a board member to local organizations.
