Dr. Mary Trudeau is a professional engineer with thirty years of experience in the development and implementation of environmental policy, programs and projects, with particular specialization in water resources and infrastructure management. Dr. Trudeau worked for 15 years as a municipal infrastructure manager with a large Canadian municipality and has since been an environmental policy and program consultant. She combines strong analytical skills and management abilities with in-depth technical knowledge and practical experience in both government and the private sector. She has published in peer reviewed journals on the topic of urban hydrology and associations with aquatic biodiversity decline.
Mary has successfully managed large, multi-disciplinary teams, public advisory committees, multi-stakeholder technical advisory committees, and staff groups of up to 70 persons, ensuring high quality deliverables on time and within budgeted resources. She is also a sessional lecturer at the University of Ottawa and at Carleton University.
